Have you ever wonder how someone got their image to display in your comments or anywhere else around the internet? Well, the secret isn’t much of a secret and I’m going to get you the tea.
First, what is a gravatar? It’s an image that is used all over the web along with your name. It’s attached to the email address you use to comment on blogs, answer emails, community forums and so on. It’s global so no matter where online you do it that image will show.
So the first thing you need to do is head on over to Gravatar and set up an account. By having an account at Gravatar will make keeping track of your photos and email address smooth like butter.
Once you get logged in you’re going to want to click on Add Email Address where it says Pick Email to Modify. It will take to another screen where you’ll add your email address.
Run off and check your email. You’ll receive an email entitled [Gravatar] Verify email addition. Make sure to click on the link in that email to verify it.
Now it’s time to add a photo of yourself or your company.
All set! You are now one of the cool kids running in these internet streets.
