The answer is simple for why I moved to ConvertKit, I needed to grow my list and not be charged for duplicate subscribers. I needed a better solution to send out content upgrades and integration with my other software. Within a few minutes after importing my subscribers to ConvertKit giving them tags and placing them into segments. I sent my first broadcast. There was a huge difference in my open rates than there has ever been before. Here’s the thing that MailChimp won’t tell you. A lot of email host will send email from MailChimp to junk or spam because of formatting and photos. My open rate skyrocketed from less than 10% to 48% to now 60%. That’s fucking huge!
Here’s the thing I’m not going to tell you something you haven’t already heard when it comes to having a mailing list. But without those weekly sales ads or cartwheel coupons in your inbox would Target be your addiction?
I can do more with ConvertKit than I ever could with MailChimp.
- Product Pitch
- Prelaunch & Launch Sequence
- Onboarding
- Webinars
I could also
- Use my own URL for landing pages
- Tag my subscribers & create segments based on the subscriber’s interest and purchases
- Have a single subscriber on multiple forms, tags,
- Exclude subscribers from a pitch sequence that have purchased my product.
It’s even solved my issue with doing content upgrades that I couldn’t figure out with MailChimp.
